ABOUT THIS COURSE

Learn hands-on techniques to help animals recover from an injury, relieve pain and stay fit and healthy for as long as possible

When your animal is older, injured or ill, you want to do anything in your power to help them. Just as physiotherapy and massage help strengthen our muscles and joints, it’s just as beneficial for our animals.

Our course shows you the benefits of animal physical therapy and exercises you can do with your pets at home. It shows you fun and safe exercises for happy, healthy and mobile pets. Sign up now so your animal can reap the benefits of your newfound knowledge as soon as possible.

Understand your animal’s anatomy

You'll learn about anatomy to get a better understanding of your animal's body. You'll learn about different problems they can face, particularly older pets. Also, some breeds are prone to specific problems, such as hip dysplasia.

Get to know the problems your pet could face, how to care for them after surgery, and the specific needs of your older pets.

Improving their mobility through exercise

Look after your pet the best you can when it becomes older or is recovering from an injury.

People of all ages benefit from exercise and so do your pets. Find the specific exercises to work on specific areas to keep them active for as long as they can.

Your pet will have great fun with the exercises and physio. Plus it will help you build a stronger bond as you work together on your pet’s fitness and health.

Helping older animals keep moving about

Sometimes it’s tempting to curl up on the sofa rather than exercise. Pets can feel the same way too. They need a little help from you.

Our course will show you techniques to practice physical therapy for dogs at home. There’s no excuse not to keep your furball fit now! You’ll get extra bonus points from your four-legged friend once you know how to massage a dog. We’re going to show you how!

Know what is pet physical therapy and how can it help

Our online certificate course shows you different techniques to work on specific problems or health issues. You’ll find different types of physiotherapy for dogs and other animals to work through plus supplements and pain relief to help.

Ways to keep pets active for as long as possible

The aim of animal physical therapy is to keep your pets as active as possible for as long as possible. You can help them to build muscle and keep their joints active following surgery or as they get older.

100% AUTHENTIC STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

These courses are amazing! I learned so much in such a short period of time, they are easy to use and very descriptive. I really do appreciate the team at Holly and Hugo for making these wonderful courses! Megan Carlson

I work with animals every day, since I work in a pet store. It’s always good to know CPR that could help save the lives of our own animals and customers. Ariel Lambert

I have found the courses to be really good, I am going to do all the courses they offer. If you want to learn about animals these are the courses for you. Teresa Waight

I received the course as a gift and loved learning facts I didn't know. I am a pet sitter and walker, and I was able to learn and grasp new things. It taught me what to do in the case of an emergency. Ally Owen

It showed me about teaching my new pup clicker training and understanding that the dominant technique of training animals is no longer valid. Niki Courtney

I love learning and I love animals, but due to health, it's hard to attend traditional classes. This I can do at my own pace in the comfort of my own home. Brandy Pringle

It has improved my life, I have started my own Pet Sitting business and left the corporate world to pursue my passion and dream. So to put it mildly it has change my world for the best. What would I say to friends is what I already say to them, take the course: it's a great value and you will learn, unlike other online courses that teach you nothing, with Holly and Hugo you have to pass a test and they are not easy questions to get certified.
